Alessi’s first complete timepiece collection was launched in 2002 – but that wasn’t the first time the firm had put their name to a wristwatch.In the 1980s Achille Castiglioni and Aldo Rossi created the watches Memento and Record respectively. These have since been reworked and relaunched as part of the Alessi timepiece collectionSome innovations included in the Alessi collection include Israeli designer Ron Arad’s “Look no hands” designs, where there are, as it suggests, no hands but instead a rotating watch face. Others include the design by Piero Lissoni, Tic, which has three faces. They come in both gents and ladies designs.Innovative and fun, Alessi watches bring an added dimension to wristwatches.
