Robert and Charles Ingersoll are famed in the world of watchmaking for hitting many firsts and developing innovative designs that were affordable for the man on the street. They developed their automated production process for wristwatches in 1892, and are now one of the oldest American watch manufacturers. Ingersoll is famed for the “Dollar Watch”.
