Movado was the brainchild of Swiss teenage entrepreneur Achille Ditesheim in 1881, and has grown to be one of the most revered names in watch making in the world.Since Movado’s creation it has spread from the small village of La Chaux-de-Fonds across the world, and now holds more than 100 patents and has received more than 200 awards along the way.Movado today strives to achieve the same goals it chased 127 years ago, to keep producing innovative and luxury watches to suit all tastes and styles.Its efforts over years have not gone unnoticed and many of Movado’s classic watches have found places in numerous museums.
